Terms of Use

These terms describe the basic rules for using the SchoolPey public website, school finance dashboard, parent application, and related services.
About SchoolPey
SchoolPey provides school-fee finance software for schools, authorized staff, parents, and guardians. The service includes fee setup, invoicing, payments, reconciliation, balances, learner credit, receipts, statements, reports, and related parent-facing workflows. SchoolPey is not a general academic management system.
Authorized use
You may use SchoolPey only for lawful school-fee administration and the account, school, learner, guardian, and financial records you are authorized to access. You must not attempt to access another school's data, another family's records, or restricted administrative functions.
School responsibilities
Schools remain responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of the student, guardian, enrollment, fee, billing, tax, and payment information they configure or provide. SchoolPey does not replace a school's professional accounting, legal, tax, or regulatory responsibilities.
Payments and M-Pesa
Eligible payment flows may use third-party payment providers and M-Pesa. A parent approves payment through the provider's normal flow. SchoolPey does not receive or store the payer's M-Pesa PIN. Provider availability, settlement timing, and external transaction processing may depend on services outside SchoolPey's control.
Financial records
SchoolPey is designed to preserve a traceable school-fee history. Issued invoices, canonical payments, allocations, learner credit movements, receipts, reconciliation records, and related audit information may remain part of the school's institutional financial record even when an individual login account is closed.
Availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or change parts of SchoolPey as the product develops. We work to keep the service reliable, but no online system or third-party payment service can be guaranteed to be available without interruption.
Prohibited activity
You must not misuse the service, interfere with security controls, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent payment information, reverse engineer protected service components where prohibited by law, or use SchoolPey to harm schools, learners, parents, staff, or other users.
Account and data requests
Eligible users may request account deletion or other privacy actions through the available SchoolPey controls. Some school financial, administrative, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records may need to be retained even when a login account is deleted.
